The digest is a real pain for the very reason you mentioned... many subscribers, for whatever reason, don't remove all the non-pertinent stuff. I have seen one post that was 3 digests deep! To avoid that, you have 2 choices. Either change your delivery to individual emails, or unsubscribe and go to

You might be referring to this from an Elecraft repair invoice: "Replaced Q5, D7, R3, R9 and R24 for Transmit/Receive MOD (Improves robustness in Transmit/Receive circuitry)." My KPA500 was back to the factory in March and had this mod installed. That didn't help much in the "robust" department,

In my case, it was not the PIN diodes themselves, but failure of R9. I'm away from my shack right now, so may not have the resistor ID correct. It is a 48 Ohm resistor. I fixed the problem by parallel connecting a pair of 1/4 W, 100 Ohm resistors across the open one. Problem solved. Been fine since
