I noticed today that the front panel of my K3/100 SN 1502 with the newer DSP board seems much warmer to the touch than before. With the rig on and having not transmitted for over an hour the PA temp is 30C while the FP temp is 34C. Room temp is 22.7C. I have never seen this before. The rig is

Bill, I would not think that 34 degC should be any cause for concern. In fact, I would not be concerned unless it got over 40 degC. Most devices are rated for an operating free-air temperature up to at least 70 degC, and that is quite hot (158 degF). In general, if you can hold your hand
