I use a hard sided golf bag, a little over 4 feet, to transport
amateur gear as checked baggage to DXpeditions. This
golf box as I call it is intended for golfers to put their club
bag inside for protection. I got mine at Dick's sporting

the powerport backpack with the inner "box." But I am still looking for a
hard case that will hold the K2/tuner, cables etc. for air travel.
