It resolved my headache...Give ranking n order number for repetitive
values

I am trying to add icon sets in excel 2007.
I want to add a up arrow in the cell for the value >0, down arrow for the
value <0 and horizontal line (neutral) for value =0.
I tried to implement the above by using the standard formula but could not
do it.
Please advise how it can be done
Hi Hanumant,
use it like IF($A$8 ="a",1,"") and drag the formula till A14 or till last
row it will give u 1 only if the cell will contain "a".
Try this out.

For contact person ur formula should be
=VLOOKUP($F$2,DATA!$B:$G,3,0)
And so on.
i.e instead of A it shoul start from B.as unique value is in col. B.
