I'm currently having a similar troubles, does your
problem also stem from a
cooker kernel upgrade
and W2K development tools. (yes I do have several development tools
that will not run on W2K either !)
If these 2 machines are on different floors of the building, this has the
added advantage of providing much-needed exercise ;-)
