I installed F10 in text mode from F10 DVD. Graphical mode
was giving issues, like sometimes system was freezing and on other
occasions I was just able to move the mouse cursor.

Yes I use the same (dragging and dropping on desktop). I don't use the
k at this time :(
o Check IP address on the interface
o Check routing table for the default gateway. You should be able to ping it.
o Check '/etc/resolv.conf' for the DNS servers. You should be able to
ping them.
