If you are using CAT based PTT, try using a second virtual com port for the PTT
line, this solved some delay issues for me.

I can tell you that I do not see any of these PTT assertion problems
with other digital mode programs, such as Fldigi, MixW or JT65-HF just

I've noticed I think since my recent upgrade to PWRSDR v2.2.3 that I
sometimes see a delay in the PTT engaging while running PSK under DM780.
Notice I said sometimes because other times I hit the send tab and transmit
engages immediately, but most times there is quite a delay. Any thoughts?
