I was just trying to build simgear on a fresh Fedora Core 4 machine and pulled the latest OpenAL cvs snapshot. The most recent openal-cvs no longer includes alut for linux? Does anyone know what's going on there? Simgear uses alut so this is a problem (assuming I'm not doing something stupid

I updated CVS and rebuilt fgfs last night (Cygwin, W2000, AMD64, nVidia) and fired up the new binary (all default options) When it finally finished loading (slow Cygwin startup problem - but that is not the problem today...) the splash screen started to fade out, and then popped back to full op
