Are you using shift-2? That selects the second engine.
Also, try shift-G to raise the wheels.
shift+G is lowering the landing gear.
g is raising the gear.

OK, Shift-2 selects magneto for the second engine. Shift-1 the first.
Shift-g is lower the gear.
