Is your board REX-PCI60 with EXAR XR17C152 ?
On NetBSD, EXAR XR17D15x is already supported with puc(

The box said "Linux Ready" so I thought that it might be FreeBSD compatible
as well,
but it seems like to get it working on linux, you need to compile the driver

I installed a pci-serial board to my freebsd box.
But it doesn't seem to be recognized.
dmesg yields this line
