Don't unload. Assuming that you use loader, let the system proceed to
the count-down and press any key except . Then enter the command:
boot kernel.old
If you want to boot with options, place them at the end. (E.g. "boot
kernel.old -s"

I had a very similar kernel panic after cvsuping at Dec 29th afternoon
USA eastern time. Any application related to network or x-window will
cause panic. I even could not cvsup anymore. Luckily, I have another
box which has source at 24th. I reversed everything to that day.

I noticed the yesterday built 4.5-stable reconized my CanoScan usb
scanner, it shew up as uscanner0 from `dmesg`. But sane-find-scanner
doesn't now the type of my scanner still. I cheched the
/sys/dev/usb/uscanner.c and only found 656U, has anyone get it worked
for 650U?
