I had a similar issue a while back where Freevo would scan folders that
has .htaccess enable. During this time I also found that if Freevo did
not have permissions to the Folder it would crash when scanning. Both
of these items are fixed and you could use either methods to keep Freevo

last config.py that I sent doesn't help, then can you try this one from
r9684. If this works then we can be certain that the problem is isolated
to the changes there.

I think the bug has crept up with the recent changes made to kaa. My
other box is running a couple moth
Mine works great with freevo. I told it to act as a Tivo remote, had
lirc learn it, and set all the delays down to lower integers.
Jason I'm not sure where you are changing your delays at, but I set the
'Inter-Key Delay' to 100, and the 'Inter-Device Delay' to 0. I did

the .password file securities. If you choose to play the secure
directory recursively it will show you all the files without prompting
for a password. Here is how my box is set up:

start with 'crypt-' in the local_conf.py
It works with encrypted, unencrypted, or even a mix of the two.
The helper 'passwd' will parse the local_conf and add encrypted users to
the existing list.

The current SVN version solved the issue. While we're on the subject of
IMDB lookups, after completing and update the listing does not auto
update to show the changes like it use to. Instead you have to back one

I am currently running the SVN 1.X version of Freevo, which uses
BeautifulSoap.py to process XML. 90% of IMDB lookups crash, dumping an
error caused by BeautifulSoap. Should Freevo be using BeautifulSoap if
it so unreliable? I am running version 3.0.3 of BeautifulSoap, should I
be using
it and give you some
feedback!
