I usually extract the files and then run setup.
I then deploy the distrib on all systems, its a network of 3 p2p systems.
All running various flavors of xp.

is the safest way. although, I think I am going to switch to the hweb
installer since I know folks will be getting the latest which is October

install itself, mediaplayer is a load of sfx file inside an sfx and it
