Regarding the LHS (in addition to comment 6):
- It may not be coindexed (!gfc_is_conindexed(e))
- It may not be a coarray (!gfc_expr_attr (e).codimension)

Stupid question, but shouldn't it be possible to replace the call to
'is_scalar_reallocatable_lhs' by a check for the allocatable attribute?
