Hi there,
I've been using gdal_calc.py as part of a workflow where I need to compute
the average of several raster files and save as a new output. (Using a
binary build of GDAL, v 1.10.0, on Mac Os X).
It is a fairly standard calc operation (e.g. "(A+B+C)/3") but because the
original data are Geo
No comments on the below anyone?
It does seem like a genuine bug that gdal_calc.py can produce output with
statistics not up to date?
Should I create an issue in the issue tracker?

Hi Etienne and others interested in NetCDF driver,
I did some work on WMS display of NetCDF files generated by GDAL
today, and it gave me a chance to play around with & think about how
to handle the Datum issue as described at
http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/NetCDF_Improvements#Datumissues .
Here
arly you can specify Proj4 from the command line to
commands, but not sure you can ask it to store this, will do some
checking.

Hi,
As part of testing GDAL's NetCDF drivers projections, I've been trying
to gdalwarp a Geotiff file from a UTM projection to Mercator-2SP
(http://geotiff.maptools.org/proj_list/mercator_2sp.html).
Thinking I should file this as a ticket? But thought I'd post here first.
I've tried 2 approaches

Hi Dan et al,
in addition to the replies below, you might find the following GDAL

on the NetCDF driver:
