It is my change to Ant which makes build.sysclasspath apply to the

Hi,
there seems to be a problem with the svn update of the Ivy module:
svn --quiet update --non-interactive ivy
svn: Working copy 'ivy' locked
svn: run 'svn cleanup' to remove locks (type 'svn help cleanup' for details)
cfr. http://vmgump.apache.org/gump/public/ivy/gump_work/update_ivy.html

Hi,
I just noticed that the project "ivy-tests" is failing for some time now,
however, we didn't receive any notification mail.
Any idea why this is the case?

Hi,
the SVN update for the ivy project fails for some time now.
http://vmgump.apache.org/gump/public/ivy/
I guess this is caused because the SVN repository has changed from
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ivy/trunk/ to
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ivy/core/trunk/ . I've
Hi,
Jakarta Commons VFS has been split in a core and sandbox part.
Ivy has a dependency on the VFS sandbox part, but this doesn't seems to be
available in gump.
How can this be solved?

Hi,
Ivy is a new project in the Apache Incubator. I've created a project descriptor
so it can be added to gump.
Could someone verify this descriptor I've attached to this mail and add it to
the metadata repository?
I've configured the email report to be sent to only me untill the project is

Hi,
I have 3 questions regarding dom4j.
1. the project is failing because of this error:
BUILD FAILED
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/xml/sax/ext/Attributes2
at org.apache.xerces.parsers.AbstractSAXParser.(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser.(Unknown Source)
dom4j seems to have problems with the new xml-apis as well...

Instead of xpp2, I'll assume.
Will take care of it.
Hi,
dom4j now needs the xpp3 parser... could someone please modify the

Hi,
dom4j no longer depends on jtidy to run its junit tests. Could someone

Hi,
I've added a unit test to test some of the STAX functionality of dom4j.
In order to really test this, I need a reference implementation of this
STAX api.
Can someone add the following line to the dom4j project descriptor:
(please verify this as I'm not very familiar with gump)

Hi,
I was taking a look at the dom4j gump descriptor and compared it to the
maven project.xml descriptor of dom4j, and I noticed some old
dependencies that are no longer required by dom4j.
I think the following projects can be removed from the dom4j descriptor
- xml-fop
- xmldb
- tranquilo (is t

to make the tests run agains both versions.

I think the problem is that gump uses another msv version than dom4j
does. If I take a look at the classpath I see:
gump: msv-20030225/msv.jar;msv-20030225/xsdlib.jar
dom4j: msv-20030807.jar;xsdlib-20030807.jar
it seems that the gump jars are older versions, perhaps they could be
upgraded?

Hi,
it seems that the following paths should be added to the classpath:
"./build/classes" and "."
The "./build/classes" contains the dom4j class files and junit
testfiles, the last path is needed for the unit tests to access the
resources in the ./xml directory
But, I don't know how to tell gum
seems fine to me :)
thanks
