FF1.5.0.9 running under FC5: no visible difference.
Your problem is NOT a FF/Linux issue.

I use the "Save As" feature an awful lot. Am I missing something?

Is there a better place to ask questions regarding GAP? I am trying to
compile and install and am getting compile errors.
Thanks.

I want to create a graphic ala an animated gif but need to write the
output as an mpeg or avi or some-such.
Can this be done with the Gimp?
Is there a better application to be using? (Suggestions?)
Thanks.

Opened in Netscape 4.61 under Linux. Using Plugger plugin for png files. It
displays as black, too. Opened the graphic in GIMP and then saved with the "Save
background color" unchecked: no difference. I suspect the plugin doesn't handle
the transparency properly.

I saw a note somewhere that said work is being done in GIMP to output swf
(Macromedia Flash) formatted files.
Does anybody have a report on this effort? Will we have Flash-authoring
capability in GIMP?
