reproduced. The dress was either Irish or Scottish in origin.
It sticks in my head because the extant dress was *almost* the ladies exact
size.

average circumference of the hem of the skirt.
I understand that hoops were not used, so I am making a corded petticoat.
Also the outfit will have no lace, decoration, or frills.
