not update the server. I then immediately exited the server and when it
restarted, it was up to date. So apparently, even if a map change does
sometimes update the server, it's definitely not the quickest and most

My servers have the same problem. I tried added a bunch of master servers
using setmaster but that has no effect. I think the system is down at the

Yeah we tried that old chestnut just a little while ago. According to my
sources the gamedata file update works to a degree but still crashes out after
a few maps. Apparently valve will be releasing another update tomorrow morning
to counter this problem.

I really fail to understand the cause of this message.
I run two TF2 servers on 2 different machines.
On one server I get the above error message when trying to access my
loadout,
on the other I don't.
Restarting the server where the problem occurs does not fix the problem.

My server also crashed on same time:

but after restart its working, maybe becouse its windows.

Nope,
But i had 600+ or so in my list, i cant/wont believe they abuse our
steamgroup id that much.. next day it was back to normal though.
Also dont forget if you joined say the official l4d2/l4d/tf2/etc groups from
valve itself, there are people that set there servers groupid to those (burn
them
Can I avoid this?
