The crash is not reproducible on my system. I copied the mentioned section from
the configuration, started Hugin and the cp lists opens fine - no crash.
The issue with Help>About indicates a corrupted installation. After a clean
installation mentioned COPYING.txt file should be installed and then
Correction: "Help" -> "About" throws „File couldn't loaded" even with a
fresh config.

HuginPanoramaCreator crashes when a Control Poi
I deleted Hugin's config file ".hugin" in home directory. After that no crash
occurs. But if I add section "[CPListFrame]" to new config file from previous
config then Hugin crashes every time when I press "Show Control Points".
Hugin misconfigured itself? Why bad configuration file causes FileN

Every time when I start Hugin and click on "Show Contol Points" then Hugin
crashes with dialog message:
../src/common/list.cpp(317): assert "Assert failure" failed in Item(): invalid
index in wxListBase::Item
This began at certain moment when I scroll Controll Point List.
