Just a faint carrier on 1566.000 tonight in Victoria , at 0505UT, with not very
much Doppler smearing.
Interestingly, I was up on Cortes Island again this past weekend, and a 50'
circumference ALA100 was able to hear the carrier there, so I tried a 1000'

Thanks for the great report! Sounds like your email conditions are worse
than the DX conditions :-). I will take your list and see what I can hear
next week when I am down there for a couple mornings. I too may have to
pack up my toys and leave the hotel for the quieter surroundings of the
beach
Hi Patrick,
Thanks very much for your post, and the information on Noumea-666. I was pretty
sure that New Caledonia was a strong possibility, but it's nice to have
confirmation from the resident DU expert!
Normally I can't respond to email messages here at the Liclon City Liberty Inn,

the beach. Out here where I live is quiet, but there can be noise along
the Prom in Seaside.
Your FFer on 666 in Noumea. used to hear them a lot in the
Hello All,
I'm sending this initial report at the Liberty Inn Motel in Lincoln City, OR,
so please forgive any bizarre email transformations. Ruth, Danny and I left
Puyallup on Saturday for a 7-day family vacation, and although I was
unsuccessful in persuading them to stay at the Grayland Motel

Yowzah! I didn't think I had a prayer
There was no sign of a test on 1210 from KEVT in Nanaimo, BC,80 miles northwest
of home in Victoria BC as the 1210 from Seattle was too strong with its sky
wave as Nanaimo BC is well out of the Seattle daytime area. Also,I only listened
for a few minutes(my girlfriend didn't let me stay up longer
Hi David;
I'm not an antenna expert, in the least, as most of my current MW DX'ing
is done with portables (though I have an old Sanserino loop in storage).
At any rate, have you considered a flag, pennant or some other corner
fed loop? Bill Nollman (from CT, on the WTFDA lists) uses something
