CFAX has always had a fair signal here during the day going back to the
60s. I talked to their CE years ago and was told that they had a null in
my direction to protect KWJJ-1080 and KNX-1070. I guess they use the
same pattern day & night. The CE said, the power was somewhere around
35-50 wa

1040 is nice and strong here at my location in Fairfield, Victoria (S 9 +
20) in mid-afternoon. No sign of distortion on 1070, but they're only about
a mile from my home, so maybe too close to be sure of anything...Walt

a fair signal at 0400 UTC Saturday.

Unfortunately, with local blowtorch KGOW "The Game" on the same frequency, even
though I tried with three separate radios (DT-400W, PR-D5, and CC-Radio EP), it
was a "water haul" from my location in far south-east Houston.

Was very dominant here in Barrington IL while testing termination resistance on
