I had some earthquake DX in 1992 and 1994. I'll be glad for no more of that. I
got a good report of KVI wiile the quake knocked KLAC off.

Both the KKXA and KGDD night patterns send everything to the north and west.
The 2013 NRC Pattern Book says KKXA is nondirectional at night, which may have
been correct at that time.
I hear very weak talk to the east, which I assume is KOKC.
Even though it has a potent signal I didn't hear it
Dennis,
That would not surprise me, as even thought KKXA sends the majority of their
signal North, I still get plenty here.

It's already been said, nothing like yesterday, butnot bad by
this midwinter's very truncated standards. Again, the bulk of the
action was between 1400 and 1500UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):

Weak signal looping north/south with country music is probably KKXA.

Steve -
Perseus has no problems playing files from the desktop. The issue must be your
configuration of the OS, but you haven't given us any details to let us
diagnose this further.
So: what OS do you have? Are you the admin or a user? What recorded the files?

I used XP up until this past summer, when I upgraded to Win7. I didn't have
problems with the Sabrent cards on either - I just had to label them
differently within TR. My concern was specific to going thru a hub.

Hello All,
Although I missed most of yesterday's TP session (except for 1566-HLAZ,

Thanks Rob, for checking that out, and others for having a listen.
For some reason I was hearing the second letter as a T, which had me
