I'd say it's even at fair level now (621). Get rid of the 620 hash, and it
would be quite listenable. Still the same YL talking. Now 07:13 UTC

They USED to have a stream. Seeing your post jogged my memory. The stream
doesn't appear to work these days. A quick "radio Tuvalu stream" search on
Google produces a few hits

I haven't found one Paul. I'll have to make do with listening to the
music the few times it comes in, and dreaming I guess...

Of course, the island music on 738 is much more listenable just now...

Congratulations, Gary. :) Any chance you could make a video of the nulling
ability of the new setup sometime? :)
I have a video from about 5 years ago nulling my local 50kW pest, 1170-KCBQ, on

Yes, Nick.
It will be interesting to see how the "Pest Control" PL-380 will shake out
against the ultimate zoo of urban mega-pests (maybe the "Super Bowl" of pest
control?).

So true! I sat down last night and built a couple more matching
transformers. I had none to spare before I left, so now I'm back up
numbers. They're easier to make in bulk, it seems! 73,...Walt

Hello All,
A brief note to report that my overmodulated local pest, 1450-KSUH (1 kW at 2
miles) has finally succumbed to the pest nulling capability of the new "Pest
Control" PL-380.
Increasing operator skill has allowed use of a "tilting function" when the pest
is nulled, causing the st
A matching transformer might have helped Walt, though a separate
ground on the antenna side would help further. A ground rod in your
luggage might raise questions also, hi.
best wishes,

This isn't much different from comparing a 'traditional' tuned air core
loop to a similarly sized
broadband loop. The signal strength on peak is very different, however the
tuned loop also
is better at nulling, in part at least due to design differences. The
broadband loop of course
