I finally figured out when it says
bing enabled not available
it means that the search provider is enabled and the top result is not
available.
I think someone on the list told me that but I had forgot.
so when I was in the internet options under programs I clicked on manage
add-ons

but I would still like to know how to get it to read bing enabled

I have no problems with Jaws and bing as my search provider I have been
using bing ever since I got my first computer in 1995and have no
problems with it.
and I have tried Yahoo and I do not care for it.

When it says Bing Enabled, Not Available, this means that it is Enabled
as your default search provider, and that it is Not Available to be
disabled.
In other words, it is either your only search provider, and/or it is set
