Please can you help me?

I use JBoss as a web container and does not utilze the ejb features. I use the
UserTransaction object to handle transactions inside my web application. Does anyone
know how to control the locking policy (optimistic/pessimistic) for a web application?
I can only find documentation on this for

Had a quick look at the whitepaper, again, there are no magic solutions.
The wrapper framework looks more like a design proposal rather than an actual product
you can use out of the box.
And it cannot be otherwise, because there is no good/simple Java(EJB) - IDL mapping.
You'll have to make

Is anti-spam and anti-virus integration on the road-map for this product? I looked at
using James for a while, but I struggled to find information about using products like
Spam Assassain or Open anti-virus with it.
Right now mail servers are two-a-penny, what makes the difference in a

I agree with Adrian.
When you develop an application, sometimes, you want to modify the db by
hand and see the effect immediately in the app. So, not CO A. +1 for
IPT.

I think we will make on-find to be the default.

If anybody finds a way around this please let me know. Funny thing is that it didn't

Thanks!

Actually this requires no changes to testsuite, correct?
Yes it does.
Take a look at src/resources/lock/META-INF/jboss.xml for example.

When I do a clean check out of the JBoss-3.2 module (Branch_3.2) as usually, I
am having problems with the build.
The errors poing to an incorrect file separator for some thirdparty libs:
BUILD FAILED
file:E:/devtools/jboss_cvs/jboss-3.2/jmx/build.xml:154:
E:\devtools\jboss_cvs\jb
Of course, it depends. Depends mostly on the driver and amount of data
loaded. Whichever strategy you choose as the default one, there will
always be cases when you get an overhead. I lean towards on-find to be
the default. To be sure, I'll run some tests.

Hmm, nothing like a week old message. This is caused by not checking
out the correct jboss-3.2 module on the Branch_3_2 branch.

I have a few plans. And some of it is detailed in The Case For Mail Services off
the project page. We'll have a system like JAMES's mailets and I also plan to have
a mail scripting system. Aside from this, the basic SMTP protocol needs to change.
I've started drafting some ideas:
Sorry if this has been asked before... while going through the tutorial, the first
question I had was: where are all these tasks documented? Esp. since some legals tags
don't show up in the choice list after pressing ctrl+space...
is there a set of documentation containing all the tags that

FYI, if you can wait, DR3 is in two weeks. Unfortunately though, it is a complete
revamp in the XML department.
