Hi there,
I have managed to get openldap setup with jboss connecting to it (by the method
of editing jboss-service.xml and a properties file).
Properties file:

The problem was that I was trying to access the java: namespace from outside a

It 'just works' for me (using both the Eclipse 3.2 stuff and JBossIDE 1.6) - my

Great...you do realize Bill that's about the worse possible position to take.
Why have the spec then? I thought one of JBoss's main tenets is to be spec

Yes, this is exactly the point I was trying to make. If JBoss supplied a maven
repo, you wouldn't have to perform all the manual library setup steps that are
needed to get up and running. Maven makes development more streamlined. If
JBoss provided the necessary dependencies in a repo, JBoss

Can you try to use TreeCache (instead of PojoCache) to see if that error also
show up?
And can you post the more detailed trace to see which field is missing?

Marc,
1. The field is for internal usage only for cache loader. In ejb3, we use it
for sfsb passivation. So you can safely ingore them. :-)
2. Do you see the cluster invocation failure all the time?

I've installed JBoss 4.0.4GA in a vps environment. I've also installed mod_jk
