Do you need
ta.requestFocus()
in there somewhere, perhaps?
I myself have problems getting, retaining or getting back
keyboard focus with Kaffee. Is this a known issue?

When I write in ta(TextArea), nothing print out( System.out.println(evt) ).
it seems textValueChanged event never come.
Can't kaffe(1.0.5-6) capture this event?
How should I modify it?
