Although I can assume it works for GTK world given that they have transparent
conversion between internal GVFS URLs and local file paths, always doing a
local mount. Maybe KIO should do something similar? The bug about

Ah, it was because I was testing with flatpaked Nautilus without access to
$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/gvfs. After giving the access, it exports the files, but I
don't seem to be able to test further as it seems it doesn't matter

I had a quick test with Nautilus and it seems GTK folks don't use
application/vnd.portal.filetransfer for gvfs-based sources
