Could you please test the following. Goto help -> click "reset configuration".
If you still have the problem goto AppData -> local -> delete the Kdenlive
folder.

I followed the three instructions, though I believe the problem has to do with

Out of curiosity, I've switched back to using the comma as decimal separator
and I have renamed again my folder as "imágenes". Again as expected, I can't
import the images.
