I have successfully compiled Kerberos 1.6 on Solaris 9, but I have a
problem. ldd of kdb5util and other programs shows that libgcc_s is
linked in. That's bad because libgcc_s is in our AFS space and I don't
want cyclic dependcieswith AFS Kerberos.
I'm using Sun's CC to compile

Try reinstalling the kdc package(s) ?
Check the man pages to be sure you are running it correctly and have it
configured correctly?
Maybe look for patches on Sun's website?

What concerns should I have if using Kerberos, when Microsoft (and
others) releases patches/updates for the changes in Daylight Savings
Time? Are there specific configurations I should change?
