As you can see from this log, I heavily typed and at the same time moved
the mouse via touchpad until the lost-sync event was trigged.
Immedeately after the event was trigged I switched to terminal using
ALT-L+TAB and killed xev with STRG+C.

I am having the same issue. The device works fine in the USB 3.0 port but does
not on the 2.0 ports.
It has and LED that is active for a few seconds when first plugged in to the
2.0 port then it just goes off.

We noticed when doing some debugging at the release sprint that although
we have iwlwifi in d-i, we don't have iwldvm, making the whole thing
useless.
Can we please get iwldvm added?

The second batch of errors is known issue, we can safely ignore them for
now.
To fix the first batch of errors I suggest to look for the latest BIOS
on Dell website and update the test machine.
