yes of course christopher,sorry for the late reply. Everytime I
hibernate my laptop, the fn keys stop to work once I turn it on like
changing the brightness. So, I thought this was the bug because after

OK I have reinstalled the upstream kernel and the system boots up OK but
fails to start the desktop applications so unable to test the suspend -
resume bug.
