Unfortunately I am not capable of doing the bisection, my apologies.
However, this is extremely common hardware (Thinkpad T440s with all-
Intel everything) that is normally extremely Linux compatible. So it
would be worth the trouble to fix this very annoying bug, in my opinion.

I should clarify that the "syndaemon -i 0.8 -d" workaround sort of works
when typing to prevent touchpad mouse movement, but it does allow mouse
movement while holding a key down, and it always allows physical
trackpad button clicks when typing or holding a key down.
