Same issue here - after an upgrade to my Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS installation
(not lubuntu), the system either does not boot anymore, or it can load
older kernels but without the proprietary nvidia driver loaded.

Ah, I see. Yes, v4.14-rc6 allows me to enter the disk password, however
wifi does not work: Ubuntu thinks the laptop has no wifi capability.

I had set apport to ignore the file and I found the setting
in ~/.apport-ignore.xml. It would seem purging did not remove that file as
I expected.
Having removed an entry in there, I got the dialog to report the crash,

I did run the command already, all it does is: start: Job is already
running: apport, nothing else happens when I crash it. At most, it asks if
