Hi,
I've finished the challenge in the beginning of October and I haven't
received anything from the Linux Foundation as well.
By the way, in the challenge I had lots of fun. Does someone have any
remote freelance job for Kernel Development?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm developing a device driver to drive a specific custom hardware,
that is implemented in FPGA. Since it is an application specific
device driver, where (in witch folder) should I put Its source in my
local kernel source tree? Is there any guideline or best practice
about it?

Hi!
I'm a newbie on ALSA architecture. I would like to known if it would
be possible to create a sound driver for a a PCM sound beeing acquired
by the GPIO of a processor, like the ARM of a Beaglebone Black.
Beaglebone has more than 32 bits of gpio so I intend to acquire the
audio signal through
I suggest you Nick try to finish Eudyptula Challenge, read some books
(Linux Kernel Development 3rd, Linux Device Drivers 3rd, Professional
Linux Kernel Architecture ...) before posting any patch.

Do you mean Eudyptula Challenge?
You should definitely take a look at this book:
http://lwn.net/Kernel/LDD3/ . There is a printed version that you can
buy too. It is worth.
If you want see the examples of the book that run in a newer Kernel
version, look at this: https://github.com/duxing2007/ldd

Hi
Is someone taking the Eudyptula Challenge here?
I was answering the tasks when suddenly it stopped returning my
messages (with corrections or new tasks). Since Little Penguin tell us
about any break, I was curious to ask.
I've sent task 15 answer on 27th of July and got no reply since then.
