Ok thanks Thomas. I now understand the logic behind the use of the "accept"
button with importing transactions.
In the 6 or so years of using KMM I never noticed nor used the pull-down menu
in the ledger to clea

In case you edit the transaction before you accept it, simply set the status to
cleared while you edit it. Accepting an imported transaction is used to remove
the import flag and set the reconciliation flag to cle

Hi Jack,
Your description on clicking the status column does work as you indicated.
I'm recommending as you noted that the Accept button remain available. It's a
larger and easier to use than the column.

If the status column is blank (not marked) and you click on it, it changes to
"cleared." If you click again, it changes to "resolved" and another click
