If you're looking at only remote access for your machinekit UI you could use
machineface/cetus with machinetalk.

Hello All
I am using DE0-Nano-SoC with Machinekit SOCFPGA on a small retrofitted CNC
Lathe.
DE0 does not have any video, so I use ssh - X to have a remote access to
the Machinekit.
Just wondering what other options I have to have the remote access.
Did anybody tried something like X11VNC?
