I'm not running Mavericks, but you should still be able to copy the .app file
in the mounted volume to the applications folder and it will be installed. Just
press command+C on it and paste it in the folder with command+V.

Thanks. I used the copy and paste method. In this case I had to open the
applications alias and navigate inside the list of applications before pasting.
