Apologies for my delayed reply. Thank you for your reply which is much
appreciatied, it now works as it should, via "Yes, w/discard".
I don't know why it didn't work the first time I tried it and, no, I hadn't
touched the rate limiting, but it works fine now.

Hello,
Yes, the defaults are exactly as you write except for SMTP_MAX_RCPTS
set to 400.
I'm reluctant to try "DELIVERY_MODULE = 'Sendmail'" because of
so many warnings of possible problems - is it worth trying
anyway?

Another issue I haven't been able to find information on in the

For those who have never seen this digest problem, I include an
excerpt from yesterday's digest for the Mailman-user group (no
criticism of the poster, btw - this is a common problem).

The reason why we chose "plain text" rather than MIME, is that users
tend to be a bit paranoid about email attachments these days... and I
can't blame them.
Thank you for your thoughts. Let's hope this problem is sorted out soon...

Thank you anyway, and let's hope that future versions of Mailman make

Is there a way to tell Mailman to strip the HTML portions? Please
