I have it working, but only in IE.
The cursors has to be cursor files, not gif or ico files.
You might need a special tool to create them.
It seems that Firefox has other requirements to the cursor.

There are more than one place where you have meters / miles.
You can change them in the localization file:
C:\Program Files\MapGuideOpenSource\WebServerExtensions\www\localized\en

support modification of the feature class in the way that you want (i.e.
add a column). You would have to copy the original data into a new
