Hi
This sounds like a fun and big project. It is not very different from
the DSP, DLP, FPGA projects only not using a single chip but a whole
pc.

Good idea. My knowledge of electronics is somewhat Let's say
rudimentary. I passed two free classes, but that's all.
Who else would be interested in this? I might be able to set up a mailing
list of some sorts, using which we could communicate the more technical
details.

If you want a big project then I've got one for you... I've been thinking
about this for years. How about creating a PC ISA card that converts the
signals for the PC to those for an MSX cartridge? Then we could play all
our games and use our MSX Music Modules etc.

Image qualty is importent.because the text on the schematics is very fine
printed.
Best way is maby to make an CAD drawing of it and post that at well.and maby
a PCB layout with it.

Using GhostScript it should be possible to convert the PDF directly to a
bitmap. Probably easier and less quality loss.
Or you could take screenshots of the PDF viewer.

is the MSXHANS Forever Hardware projects section. The MSX
is still very good in controling easy to build hardware extension withe the
printer and jotstick connections and I will upload as much projects from old
magazines and books as tiem permits.
I uploaded a chapter of the book MSX Toepassingen
mailing list know something about hardware.
So, why do not try to develop this technologies for free, with datasheets, and
mainly, the projects of hardware and PCB´s that some groups create, and
distribute it in the web? I think it will give some chance to know technologies
that, for example
/tech_328carts.htm ).
Once I'm satisfied with my SV-to-PC cross-development platform,
it'll be relatively easy to duplicate for my MSX Yamaha CX5M,
as the SV & MSX are closely related. It's my intention to port
SV hardware projects to my CX5M. When I have an FDC made, I
