Hi, I'm not sure I understand the question, but in general to kill a program you can do ps -e to find all the programs running (or do 'ps -e | grep prog name'), then you see its PID (process id) and then kill -9 PID to kill it. HTH Moshe * Mithrilhall2000 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [020227
