I saw the Continuing red headed woodpecker at kissena park just 5 mins ago at
the beginning of the wood chipped path near the 164 th street entrance to the
park. Just south and down hill from the pine trees that are just south of the
lake.

Hello all. The red headed woodpecker was active this morning along the
overlook just north west of the lake along with all the other five species of
woodpecker. Not many ducks at the lake though.

red breasted merganser, possibly two, both male.

Just saw a turkey vulture fly over the park heading east. Also, brown
thrasher, rusty bbs, fish crows earlier over the corridor and many singing
birds such as junco, song sparrow, morning dove, redwing bb, cardinals, white
throats. I guess they feel the warmth of the day.
