Are you able to reproduce the crash?
If so i would ask you to upgrade to KDE 4.3.5 or KDE 4.4.0 since those versions
have some protection against this kind of crashes.

I am running KDE 4.3.2
I don't seem to have the issue anymore it somehow fixed its self.
I may have open a pdf file with firefox without saving the file and then closed
