Trim margins was enabled. I was not even aware that "Trim Margins" was a
feature in Okular. I have no idea how it got enabled. I had gone through

Additional approach to eliminate any doubts concerning the PPD file:
I just downloaded "hplip-3.13.8.run", extracted "hp-laserjet_4250-pcl3.ppd"
which is said to work "excellent" by openprintin
