I'll rename that attribute, although its a little bit strange cause actually
hibernate should quote/escape those field-names so that you cannot run into
any issues with reserved words of the database.

Hi! I had answer for my issue. I post here maybe helpful for someone.
That is the key word 'type' is no longer supported in MySQL from version
5.1. It's replaced by 'engine'.
Therefore, without changing the code, I have to use MySQL version 5.0 or
lower for intalling completely.

JAVA_HOME should be set by installing the JRE.
But you can add it manually in your sys
ok... i found red5.bat file. when i run it i get an error JAVA_HOME
variable not set

I'm installing OpenMeetings 1.6 rc1 with MySQL 5.5.8 on Windows 7. I've

That indicates that there is no proper database connection.
Check your hibernate.cfg.xml and if the tables in the database do exist +
have the character_set = utf8_xxx
