I should know this but it's early, so hopefully someone can clear the fog in

Hi
I cant see from your last mail what program you are using to rip but
check out your settings as in most you can tell the prog what speed your
cd can rip at and this setting might have been changed to a much slower
one.

Hi. I don't have xp, but in windows media player 9 you add the currently
playing track to the library from the file menu. It's saved under "other
media" in the library tree view. My old jfw version does not read the list
view either, I was hoping that would have been corrected with xp and a late
total recorder would probably do the job.

Do a search on Google for MP3Extractor. It will be as a self-executable file
Mp3Extractor.exe.
If you can't locate, drop me a line off list and I'll attach. It is
freeware.

If you use the headphone jack as output, the chances of getting a good
clean signal are minimal. It just never quite works, I think it has
something to do with the waythe sound is amplified before hitting the
headphone jack. Best to use your stereo's line out if you have one.

having the mic check box checked in the playback stops you hearing what
you are saying into the mic back through your speakers.
