Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to have two usb sound cards on the
same machine? If it is do they have to be different sound cards?

How does one hear what is coming through a USB soundcard? Must you plug in
another set of speakers into the soundcard? the reason I ask is that I have
a USB Logitech Microphone, and when I use it, I don't hear anything coming
through the speakers that are hooked up to the computer soundcard

One could probably patch the digital out in if the line jack is already
used. I think most onboard cards now even have some sort of digital in.
