Thanks to everyone who looked and commented. Bob W - not exactly wilderness, but minimal 3g / broadband connectivity on the way Bob S - we expected rain (this is England in the summer after all) and had the gear to deal with it - and some very understanding B&B hosts who helped us dry out. Boris
